FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do the tickets work? Tickets are purchased in advance or at the event. Advance tickets are $75 and $95 day of at the door. VIP tables of 10 are available for $750 and must be purchased in advance. VIP includes early admission, meet & greet with wine makers, upgrades to include Cheese Trays by The Tasting Room and Sucre chocolates.
What if I don’t like wine? You can still join us for the day! We will have samples of local beer, scotch and bourbon available (additional fees will apply).
What if it rains? In the event of rain, we will relocate to covered areas in and around English Turn’s clubhouse.
What about the weather? Louisiana weather changes all of the time; but, we are prepared to move inside if needed.
Will food be available? Small plates will be provided by Chef Louis of English Turn Country Club. VIP’s and sponsors will receive an upgraded selection to include St James Cheese and chocolates by Sucre’. General admission guests’ can purchase St James Cheese and Sucre’ chocolates on site.
Can I bring by own food and drinks? No.
What about parking? We have plenty of parking available.
How do you monitor underage drinking? All attendees will be carded prior to admission. 21 and over for the tasting.
Is the event family friendly? Yes, we have children’s’ activities. Admission is $15 per child. Children are not allowed in the tasting area. No exceptions.
Can I bring a folding chair or blanket? Yes, there will be great music, so more reason to make yourself comfortable.
How can I get more information about the wines I will be tasting? We will be posting updated information on our website and Facebook page as it becomes available.
What time is check-in? 2pm for general admission / 1pm for VIP
I am coming in from out of town. Where can I stay? We have hotel partners coming online soon. Check back for more details.
